About
This professional program prepares electronics technicians for the ETA International Radio Frequency Interference and Mitigation (RFIM) certification. The curriculum covers advanced concepts of radio frequency propagation, spectrum analysis, and the technical identification of interference sources such as intermodulation and PIM. Participants will learn how to operate spectrum analyzers for field hunting, apply mitigation techniques using filters and amplifiers, and maintain regulatory documentation per FCC and NTIA standards. The course provides the technical mastery required to resolve signal degradation in complex wireless environments including 5G, public safety, and cellular networks.
